Position Title: Licensed Vocational Nurse - Integrated Care Clinic, Nacogdoches, TX

Overview
Burke is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our Integrated Care Clinic team. In this role, you will provide primary care nursing services and support medical providers to ensure high-quality, integrated behavioral health care. 

Key Responsibilities

• Assist MDs, PAs, and APNs in client care

• Take vital signs and document medications in the electronic medical record (EMR)

• Administer injections and complete nursing assessments

• Perform EKGs, collect and manage labs, track lab orders, and process requisitions

• Handle prescription refill requests with provider authorization

• Respond to client phone calls and provide timely documentation of all services

• Maintain medication inventory and support client education

• Coordinate pharmaceutical representative visits

• Complete additional duties as assigned under the supervision of the Director of Nursing

Qualifications
Required:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program

• Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) with the Texas State Board of Nurse Examiners

• Valid Texas driver's license

• Ability to complete SAMA, CPR, and First Aid training

• Driving record that meets Burke's insurance standards

Preferred:

• One year of experience in a medical setting

• Experience in a mental health or behavioral health environment

Skills & Knowledge

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office

• Strong time-management, communication, and organizational skills

• Knowledge of community resources and behavioral healthcare best practices

• Ability to perform tasks requiring visual, auditory, and motor skills, including lifting up to 25 lbs

Schedule & Travel

• Monday-Friday, generally 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

• Travel required within Burke's 11-county service area

Salary
$43,056 annually
