Position Summary
Burke is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our Integrated Care Clinic in Lufkin, TX. This role provides direct nursing support to medical providers while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in an integrated behavioral health setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist physicians, physician assistants, and advanced practice nurses with patient care

• Obtain and document vital signs, medications, and nursing assessments in the electronic medical record (EMR)

• Administer injections and perform EKGs

• Collect, process, and track laboratory specimens and orders

• Complete prescription refills with appropriate authorization

• Respond to patient phone calls and provide health education

• Maintain accurate medication documentation and inventory

• Coordinate visits with pharmaceutical representatives

• Perform additional duties as assigned

Education & Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

• Licensed as a Vocational Nurse by the Texas Board of Nursing

Experience

• Required: At least one (1) year of experience in a medical setting

• Preferred: Experience in a mental health or behavioral health setting

Licenses & Certifications

• Current Texas Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license

• Valid Texas driver's license. Driving record must be insurable by Burke's insurance administrator.

• Ability to successfully complete Satori Alternatives to Managing Aggression (SAMA), CPR, and First Aid training

Physical Requirements

• Ability to see, hear, speak, and perform fine motor tasks

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

• Ability to walk, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods

Schedule

• Monday-Friday

• 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Salary

• $43,056 annually
