About the Role

Burke is seeking a Mental Health Clinician to provide direct rehabilitative services to individuals with chronic mental illness in both office and community/home settings. This role supports clients across Nacogdoches, San Augustine, and Shelby Counties and plays a key part in delivering high-quality, person-centered behavioral health services.

What You'll Do

  • Provide direct care rehabilitative services in office and community settings
  • Deliver services based on individualized rehabilitation plans
  • Maintain compliance with Medicaid and agency standards
  • Complete timely and accurate documentation
  • Travel within the service area to meet client needs
  • Collaborate with clinical team members under the supervision of the Clinical Coordinator
  • Support individuals with chronic mental illness in achieving treatment goals

What We're Looking For

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Sociology, Human Development, or related Human Services field meeting QMHP requirements
  • Valid Texas driver's license
  • Reliable personal vehicle and ability to travel within the service area
  • Ability to complete SAMA, CPR, First Aid, and Defensive Driving training
  • Insurable driving record

Preferred:

  • 6+ months of direct care experience in behavioral health or educational settings
  • Knowledge of growth and development
  • Familiarity with DSM-IV diagnostic criteria
  • LBSW certification

Work Schedule

  • Monday-Friday, generally 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Occasional after-hours work may be required

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $42,120 - $43,555 annually (based on qualifications and experience)
  • Travel reimbursement provided

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Prolonged standing, walking, and driving
  • Manual dexterity, vision, hearing, and communication abilities
