General Description
Burke is seeking a full-time, dedicated individual to serve as a Crisis Counseling Program (CCP) Worker, funded through a Disaster Relief Grant to support individuals affected by disasters. This role involves assisting the Team Lead with ensuring high-quality service delivery, providing support to affected communities, and maintaining accurate records for reporting purposes. The CCP Worker will work closely with the Team Lead, local authorities, organizations, and community groups to foster collaborative relationships and ensure community needs are addressed.
Education
Required: Graduation from an accredited high school or its equivalent.
Experience
Preferred: Experience working in a Human Services Field.
Licenses/Certifications
Required: Valid Texas driver's license.
Special Requests or Comments
Required: Must have a driving record insurable by Burke's insurance administrator. Reliable transportation is required.
Physical Requirements
Required: Sight, hearing, talking, lifting up to 50 pounds, walking, driving a vehicle, and hand/finger dexterity.
Hours
Monday - Friday; 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
After hours as necessary and to attend meetings. Extensive travel within the 11-county area may be required.
Salary
$25,750 - $32,000 annually; depending on education and experience.
Duration
This position is supported by an 18-month grant.
