General Description

This position provides support for nursing staff by performing duties such as taking vital signs, weighing clients, calculating BMI, checking in clients for prescribers, and assisting with prescription refills. Additional responsibilities include problem-solving, answering phones, and other duties as assigned. This role contributes to the efficient operation of the outpatient clinic and supports the growth of services offered by Burke through collaboration with staff, consumers, and partner agencies.

Education

Required: Graduation from an accredited high school or its equivalent.

Experience

Required: At least six months of experience in a medical support environment.

Licenses/Certifications

Required: Valid Texas driver's license

Physical Requirements

Required: Sight, hearing, talking, walking, lifting 50 pounds, ability to sit and stand for prolonged periods, bending or kneeling, driving a vehicle, and hand/finger dexterity. Applicants must have a driving record insurable by Burke's insurance administrator.

Hours

Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Salary

$28,329 annually
