About the Role
Burke is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Support Staff member to assist with front office operations at the Polk Mental Health Clinic in Livingston. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth daily operations, supporting clinical staff, and providing excellent customer service to clients.
This position is ideal for individuals interested in healthcare administration, medical office support, or behavioral health services.
What You'll Do

Greet clients and visitors and provide front desk support.

Answer and manage a high-volume, multi-line phone system.

Schedule and maintain appointments for physicians, therapists, intake staff, and clinical team members.

Complete fee contracts and collect payments.

Communicate with insurance and financial services for authorization of services.

Maintain accurate records, data entry, and filing.

Assist with coverage of reception area as needed.

Maintain confidentiality in accordance with agency policies and procedures.

Support additional administrative duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
Required:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Valid Texas driver's license with driving record insurable by Burke.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
Preferred:
1 year of clerical or administrative experience and working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Windows-based systems.

Work Schedule

Monday - Friday between the hours of 8am-5pm
