General Description
This position delivers direct physical therapy and consultative services, as recommended by the interdisciplinary team, to developmentally delayed and/or medically at-risk children from birth to age three in a community-based setting. In accordance with Texas licensure requirements, Physical Therapist Assistants must work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
Education
Required: Completion of a program from an accredited college or university, resulting in certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
Experience
Preferred: One (1) year of experience working with children from birth to three (3) years old and/or preschool-aged children.
Licenses/Certifications
Required: Licensed, in good standing, by the Texas State Board of Physical Therapy Examiners.
Required: Valid Texas driver's license.

Physical Requirements
Required: Sight, hearing, talking, lifting up to 25 pounds, walking, bending, driving a vehicle, and hand/finger dexterity.
Hours
Monday - Friday, Generally, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Salary
Negotiable, depending on qualifications and experience.
