Compensation: $26,520 annually
Burke is seeking a Support Staff team member to provide clerical and administrative support for a closed-door, mail-order pharmacy within the East Texas Behavioral Healthcare Network (ETBHN). This cross-trained, floater role supports daily pharmacy operations and assists in multiple functional areas as needed to ensure efficient, compliant service delivery.
The Support Staff position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while collaborating closely with pharmacy staff.
Provide clerical support for a closed-door mail-order pharmacy
Assist with indigent medication programs and pharmacy assistance programs (PAP)
Fax and process critical pharmacy-related information
Gather and track information related to prescription refills
Open, receive, and organize incoming medication shipments
Track and maintain PAP inventory records
Answer incoming phone calls and route inquiries appropriately
Assist in the shipping department as needed
Support pharmacy operations across multiple functional areas as a floater
Communicate effectively with pharmacy staff to ensure compliance with pharmacy standards
Identify operational needs and assist with solutions with minimal supervision
Travel as needed to support pharmacy operations
Education
Required: High school diploma or GED
Experience & Skills (Preferred)
One (1) year of clerical or administrative support experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Valid Texas driver's license
Driving record that meets Burke's insurance requirements

Visual and auditory ability to interact effectively with staff and consumers
Ability to bend, reach, and lift up to 25 pounds
Fine motor skills for legible writing and handling materials
