About the Role

Burke is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Quality Management Coordinator to join our Quality Management team in Nacogdoches, TX. This position supports Quality Management, Safety and Risk Management, Compliance, and Health Information Management through auditing, data analysis, regulatory monitoring, and quality improvement activities.

The Quality Management Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring compliance with organizational policies, regulatory standards, and best practices while helping improve the quality and safety of services provided throughout Burke's programs.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, enjoys problem-solving, works well independently, and maintains the highest level of professionalism when handling confidential information.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct routine billing and clinical documentation audits across Burke programs
  • Perform fidelity reviews and off-site service delivery monitoring
  • Collect, analyze, and report safety and infection control data
  • Assist with Health Information Management functions, including the maintenance, handling, and release of protected health information (PHI)
  • Compile and analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for quality improvement
  • Assist with compliance monitoring and quality assurance activities
  • Support Safety, Risk Management, and Quality Management initiatives as assigned
  • Collaborate with program staff to improve documentation quality and regulatory compliance
  • Travel throughout Burke's service area as needed to complete audits and monitoring activities

Education & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Rehabilitation, or another Human Services discipline that meets QMHP, QMDDP, or ECI Service Coordination requirements, from an accredited college or university
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to interpret regulations and apply quality improvement principles
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential client information
  • Valid Texas driver's license required

Work Schedule

  • Monday - Friday
  • Generally 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Licenses & Certifications

  • Valid Texas driver's license required
  • Reliable personal vehicle required for occasional travel throughout the service area
  • Driving record must be insurable by Burke's insurance administrator

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to drive throughout the service area as needed
