Burke - East Texas Behavioral Health Network (ETBHN) is seeking a PRN Certified Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy operations by assisting the Pharmacist with prescription dispensing in compliance with Texas State regulations and pharmacy guidelines. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who values accuracy, teamwork, and patient care. Additional duties may be assigned to support efficient pharmacy operations.
Assist the Pharmacist with dispensing prescriptions in accordance with state and pharmacy guidelines
Accurately enter and process prescription information
Support daily pharmacy operations as needed
Required: High school diploma or GED
Required: Active national and Texas state Pharmacy Technician credentials
Preferred: Experience using the Pioneer RX pharmacy system
Active Texas State Pharmacy Technician License
National certification through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB)
Valid Texas driver's license. Applicants must have a driving record that is insurable by Burke's insurance carrier.
Ability to see, hear, and communicate effectively
Manual dexterity for handling medications and pharmacy equipment
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
Ability to walk and drive a vehicle as required
Part-time; hours will vary based on operational needs
$13.50 - $15.50 per hour, based on qualifications and experience
